About this task
Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Location: London, hybrid.
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per year, pro rata.
Role:
Manage complex speech and voice-production projects for technology and digital media clients, from initial brief through final delivery. Coordinate clients, studios, voice talent, directors, engineers, vendors and internal teams. Own schedules, budgets, production assets and quality, while improving tools and workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple speech and voice-production projects from initial scoping through final delivery.
- Translate client briefs into budgets, schedules, production plans and resource requirements.
- Prepare and maintain project cost estimates as briefs and production needs evolve.
- Act as a key client contact, providing clear updates on progress, costs, risks and deliverables.
- Coordinate recording studios, voice talent, directors, engineers, vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage scripts, session materials, audio and video references and other production assets.
- Track recording progress, script updates, production changes and final deliverables.
- Manage project budgets, investigate variances and resolve cost-related queries.
- Source international partner studios and support commercial negotiations when required.
- Review client, vendor and talent agreements to identify errors, risks or negotiation points.
- Ensure editing, quality assurance and asset delivery meet client specifications and deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve production workflows, reporting and operational efficiency.
- Develop or enhance production-tracking tools using advanced Excel, automation or other technical solutions.
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in production management, project management or project coordination within a complex delivery environment.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects, deadlines, budgets and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience in speech, voice, audio, localization, media production, games or a related production environment is desirable.
- Strong scheduling, budgeting, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and interest in workflow improvement or automation.
- Ability to work in a hybrid London-based setup for the fixed-term contract.
