Role overview:
Design, produce and integrate high-quality audio content for video games and related media. Work autonomously, meet tight deadlines and align quickly with established creative direction and technical pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Design and edit professional-quality sound assets aligned with project artistic vision and game assets within allocated timeframes.
- Sync and mix audio for linear media when required.
- Contribute to documentation and production tracking tools when required.
- Collaborate efficiently with internal teams and external partners.
Required experience and skills:
- Proven experience on shipped games.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and efficient sound design.
- Advanced proficiency in a professional DAW; Reaper preferred.
- Solid understanding of interactive audio workflows.
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently and with minimal oversight.
- Strong organisational skills and respect for deadlines.
- Professional fluency in French or English.
- Legal authorisation to work in Quebec, Canada.
- Must own and operate professional equipment, software and sound libraries.
Additional assets:
- Integration skills in middleware or game engines.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, Perforce or SVN.
- Basic scripting or technical problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence or similar production tools.
- Availability for occasional on-site collaboration.
