Language Lead (Chinese Traditional Taiwan)

About this task

The role is for experienced Chinese Traditional Taiwan Senior Linguists and professionals with proven experience in Language Lead roles for Chinese Traditional Taiwan.

As a Senior Linguist, you will work on high-quality translation and revision projects for enterprise clients. As a Language Lead, you will also oversee overall linguistic quality, provide guidance to a team of linguists, monitor performance, organize training sessions, and continuously improve quality standards.

Both roles are freelance, independent positions with a defined number of hours per month dedicated to team and quality management activities for the Language Lead role, in addition to translation and revision work. You will act as a cultural and linguistic expert, ensuring projects resonate naturally with the Taiwanese audience.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality translation and revision work that meets defined quality KPIs.
- Provide linguistic and cultural consultancy specific to Chinese Traditional Taiwan.
- Conduct root cause analysis using internal tools and/or client platforms.
- For the Language Lead role, support continuous monitoring and improvement of linguistic quality across assigned accounts.
- For the Language Lead role, understand the quality produced for the target language across the client account and for each team member.
- For the Language Lead role, independently drive team and quality management activities to meet KPIs and goals.

Requirements include native-level Chinese Traditional Taiwan language ability, strong translation and revision experience, cultural expertise for Taiwan, and the ability to manage quality standards and team feedback where applicable.
