Writer - ReelShort, Elastic Heart Studio (Contractor)

About this task

Role: Work with the Head of Studio and Head Writer to conceptualize projects and create approximately 60-80 one-minute episodes per project for short-form narrative series. The role requires strong creative vision, time management, a love of romance and romance media, and effective collaboration.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with writers, directors, and other creative team members to develop storylines, characters, and themes.
- Provide creative feedback and guidance throughout production to maintain artistic integrity and alignment with the series vision.
- Ensure each episode maintains consistent quality and adheres to brand standards.
- Read source material monthly for projects.
- Write 1 ReelShort or interactive live-action project every 4 weeks.
- Work with the Head Writer to implement creative feedback in line with style and mission.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Be responsive to messages during work hours, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm PST.
- Attend weekly team meetings, meetings with studio leadership, and creative brainstorming or workshop meetings.
- Maintain overall creative vision and quality standards for projects.

Other requirements:
- Must be able to sit at a computer and focus for extended periods, with breaks as needed.
- Role requires flexibility.
