Product Manufacturing Operations Project Manager (OPM) - Apple Products

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of manufacturing operations projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Set project goals, define timelines, allocate resources, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Lead and mentor project management teams or cross-functional project teams.
- Coordinate collaboration across R&D, production, quality, sales, and other departments to ensure alignment and efficient workflow.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, ensure requirements are clearly understood and communicated internally, and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Track project metrics including cost, quality, delivery, and service; compile reports, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to improve project efficiency and consistency.

Requirements:
- 10 years of OEM factory project management experience.
- OPM experience with Apple or similar product lines is preferred.
- Familiar with the NPI process from product development through launch.
- Manufacturing background with a full understanding of factory operations; able to provide creative and appropriate operational solutions.
- Able to respond quickly to customer requests in a professional manner and provide solid plans and solutions.
- Able to manage day-to-day tasks under pressure while maintaining high-quality output, including logical and meticulous data presentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to think ahead, maintain schedule awareness, identify project risks, and propose mitigation solutions.
- Native-level Mandarin and English are required.
- PMP certification is a plus.
