Optical Module Test Engineer – Candidates from Other Optical Industries Welcome

About this task

Positions are available for long-term assignments in Vietnam and Dongguan. Compensation is negotiable.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle final testing of 800G/1.6T high-speed optical modules, control mass-production optoelectronic testing processes, optimize workflows, and improve yield.
2. Lead the introduction of NPI testing processes for new products; formulate mass-production testing plans, parameter thresholds, and acceptance criteria; and complete pilot-production validation and issue closure.
3. Prepare testing SOPs, inspection specifications, PFMEA documents, and testing control standards, and implement standardized testing operations on production lines.
4. Analyze and resolve mass-production testing abnormalities, troubleshoot issues involving optical power, extinction ratio, sensitivity, bit error rate, and bandwidth, and address test drift, false results, and retesting anomalies.
5. Calibrate, inspect, and improve testing equipment, fixtures, and jigs; optimize testing cycles; and improve equipment utilization and first-pass testing yield.
6. Compile mass-production testing data, conduct SPC analysis and defect reviews, and promote testing process optimization and cost-reduction initiatives.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above in optoelectronics, electronics, communications, automation, or a related field; requirements may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.
2. Experience in mass-production testing processes for optical modules is preferred. Familiarity with 800G/1.6T high-speed optical module testing principles and proficiency in core tests and defect criteria involving optoelectronic parameters, bit error rate, and eye diagrams are preferred. Candidates with experience in other optical industries are also welcome.
3. Ability to independently introduce NPI testing, analyze mass-production abnormalities, improve yield, and optimize processes.
4. Strong ability to respond to on-site issues, work under pressure, communicate, and collaborate.
Work details: Based in Vietnam for 6–12 months. The working language is Chinese.

岗位职责：
1、负责800G/1.6T高速光模块成品终测、量产光电性能测试工艺管控、流程优化与良率提升。
2、主导新品NPI测试工艺导入，制定量产测试方案、参数阈值及判定标准，完成试产验证与问题闭环。
3、编制测试SOP、检验规范、PFMEA及测试管控标准，落实产线标准化测试作业。
4、负责量产测试异常分析与整改，排查光功率、消光比、灵敏度、误码、带宽等参数不良，解决测试漂移、误测及复测异常问题。
5、负责测试设备及工装治具的校准、点检与技改，优化测试节拍，提升设备稼动率与测试直通率。
6、统计量产测试数据，开展SPC分析与不良复盘，推进测试流程优化及降本增效项目。
任职要求：
1、本科及以上学历，光电、电子、通信、自动化等相关专业，优秀者可适当放宽要求。
2、有光模块量产测试工艺经验者优先；熟悉800G/1.6T高速光模块测试原理，精通光电参数、误码、眼图等核心测试项目及不良判定标准者优先；可接受其他光学相关行业经验。
3、具备独立完成NPI测试导入、量产异常分析、良率提升及制程优化的能力。
4、现场响应快、抗压能力强，具备良好的沟通与团队协作能力。
工作信息：驻越南工作6至12个月，工作语言为中文。
