Senior Logistics Specialist

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth daily logistics operations in collaboration with Sales, Sales Operations, Supply Planning, Quality, Customer Care, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and coordinate warehouse audits with internal and external auditors.
- Lead logistics projects involving new product launches, warehouse transitions, transportation tenders, logistics network changes, and process improvements.
- Manage import logistics and customs compliance in accordance with Japanese regulations.
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with warehouses, carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers.
- Evaluate vendor performance, challenge existing operating models, and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and enhance logistics strategies to improve cost efficiency, service performance, and operational scalability.
- Identify and implement improvements through automation, digitalization, and operational redesign.
- Monitor logistics KPIs, including cost, service levels, quality, and inventory performance, and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
