Engineering Project Manager / Mining Project Manager

About this task

Work location: Guinea, with a long-term overseas assignment. Employees may return home for one month of leave each year. Monthly salary: 20-30k.

Responsibilities
Take overall responsibility for overseas engineering projects and manage the full project lifecycle, including project planning, design coordination, procurement and logistics, construction management, cost control, quality and safety, contract performance, and final acceptance.
Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Develop and implement project budgets and strictly control costs. Understand equipment fuel consumption and spare-parts wear cycles, and establish operating standards and requirements.
Establish and implement quality and safety management systems. Organize regular site inspections and training to ensure engineering quality and prevent major safety incidents.
Manage engineering service contracts, handle variations, delays, claims, and disputes, organize commercial negotiations, and protect the company's interests.
Lead Chinese and local employees and coordinate the allocation and dynamic management of project resources.
Liaise with overseas clients, supervisors, and local government authorities, maintain effective working relationships, and submit regular progress and financial reports.

Requirements
At least five years of civil engineering experience, including at least three years as a project manager or project lead. Experience managing the full lifecycle of projects in Africa is preferred.
Proficiency in core methods and tools for cost control, schedule management, safety, and quality assurance.
Strong cross-cultural team leadership, communication, coordination, risk assessment, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to work overseas for extended periods.

岗位职责
全面负责工程项目管理，统筹项目全生命周期，包括项目策划、设计协调、采购物流、施工管理、成本控制、质量安全、合同履约及竣工验收等环节。
负责项目全过程管理，确保项目按计划、预算和质量标准完成。
制定并执行项目预算，严格控制成本；熟悉设备油耗、配件损耗等周期，制定工作标准和要求。
建立并落实质量管理体系和安全管理体系，定期组织现场检查与培训，确保工程质量符合标准，杜绝重大安全事故。
管理工程服务合同，处理变更、延期、索赔及争议，组织商务谈判，维护公司权益。
领导中外方员工，统筹项目各类生产要素的优化配置和动态管理。
对接业主、监理及当地政府机构，维护良好合作关系，定期提交进度与财务报告。

任职要求
具有5年以上土建工程工作经验，其中至少3年项目经理或项目负责人经验；具有非洲项目全周期管理经验者优先。
熟练掌握成本控制、进度管理、安全及质量保证的核心工具与方法。
具备优秀的跨文化团队领导力、沟通协调能力、风险预判与应对能力，能够适应长期驻外工作。
