Responsibilities

Technical Decision-Making and Program Management:
1. Take overall responsibility for the technical management of MPD projects. Review and optimize MPD operating programs covering CBHP, PMCD, Mud Cap Drilling, and related techniques, conduct onsite technical briefings, and complete HAZID/HAZOP risk assessments.
2. Analyze drilling data in real time, monitor bottom-hole pressure changes, make final technical decisions for complex conditions such as kicks, losses, gas influxes, and narrow pressure windows, and issue pressure-control instructions.
3. Diagnose onsite failures, optimize parameters, and provide technical support for challenging wells, including HPHT, extended-reach, and other complex wells.

Team Management and HSE:
4. Manage the onsite team, guide operators in equipment inspection, maintenance, and field operations, and oversee scheduling, performance assessment, and skills training.
5. Implement well-control and HSE requirements. Act as the person primarily responsible for project safety, supervise hydrogen sulfide protection and fire-response drills, and exercise stop-work authority over unsafe operations.

Client Relations and Project Delivery:
6. Serve as the company’s technical representative and coordinate with clients, drilling crews, geologists, and other service companies while maintaining strong client relationships.
7. Review operational summaries, well-completion reports, and technical analysis reports, and deliver final technical presentations to clients on behalf of the project team.
8. Participate in technical assessments for new projects, equipment selection, commercial tender support, and onsite training to support regional market development.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in petroleum engineering, drilling engineering, or a related discipline.
2. At least five years of onsite MPD experience, including at least two to three years as an MPD Engineer or in an equivalent frontline management role. Overseas project experience is preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of MPD control-system principles and field applications, including the design and implementation of CBHP, PMCD, Mud Cap Drilling, and other common MPD techniques.
4. Expertise in drilling hydraulics calculations, ECD analysis, and well-control theory, with the ability to independently handle complex well conditions and make onsite technical decisions.
5. Proficiency with professional software such as WellPlan, Compass, and Drilling Dynamics Simulator.
6. Strong team leadership, cross-functional coordination, and client-service capabilities, including the ability to manage contractors and multiple crews.
7. Fluent written and spoken English as a working language, with the ability to communicate independently with clients, prepare technical reports, and deliver presentations in English.
8. Ability to undertake long-term overseas assignments and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Project experience in the Middle East or with major international oil company clients.
2. Experience with complex wells, HPHT wells, or narrow pressure-window operations.
3. Advanced well-control certification, such as IWCF Level 2/3, or a project management certification.

4. 全面管理现场团队，指导操作工程师开展设备巡检、维护保养及现场作业，并负责人力排班、绩效考核与技能培训。
5. 落实井控和HSE制度，作为项目安全第一责任人，监督防硫化氢、消防等安全演练，并有权制止违规作业。

客户关系与项目交付：
6. 作为公司技术代表，与甲方、钻井队、地质人员及其他服务公司进行沟通协作，维护良好的客户关系。
7. 审批作业总结报告、完井报告及技术分析报告，代表项目组向客户进行最终技术汇报。
8. 参与新项目技术评估、设备选型、商务投标支持及现场培训，推动区域市场拓展。

任职要求：
1. 石油工程、钻井工程等相关专业本科及以上学历。
2. 具有5年以上MPD现场工作经验，其中至少2至3年担任MPD工程师或同等一线管理岗位；有海外项目经验者优先。
3. 精通MPD控制系统原理及现场应用，熟悉CBHP、PMCD、Mud Cap Drilling等常见MPD工艺的设计与实施。
4. 精通钻井液压计算、ECD分析及井控理论，具备独立处理复杂井况及进行现场技术决策的能力。
5. 熟练使用WellPlan、Compass、Drilling Dynamics Simulator等专业软件。
6. 具备优秀的团队领导力、跨部门组织协调能力及客户服务意识，能够有效管理承包商及多个班组的协同作业。
7. 英语听说读写流利，能够将英语作为工作语言，独立完成客户沟通、技术报告编写及英文汇报演示。
8. 能够适应长期海外项目安排及高压工作环境。

优先条件：
1. 具有中东地区项目经验或国际大型石油公司甲方项目经验。
2. 具有复杂井、HPHT井或窄密度窗口井作业经验。
3. 持有IWCF Level 2/3等高级别井控证书或项目管理类认证。
