MEP Project Manager

About this task

Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain electrical systems to optimize operating efficiency.
2. Optimize engineering performance by providing recommendations for strategic planning and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving engineering issues, completing audits, identifying trends, determining system improvements, and implementing changes.
3. Achieve departmental financial objectives by forecasting requirements and challenges, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and taking corrective action.
4. Develop strategic electrical plans by reviewing operating plans and current conditions, identifying requirements, planning solutions, updating requirements and solutions, and preparing cost estimates and budgets.
5. Plan electrical projects by defining specifications, selecting contractors, preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, awarding contracts, supervising execution, ensuring compliance, controlling costs and schedules, resolving project issues, and completing project acceptance.
6. Develop installation plans, schedule shutdowns and installation activities, integrate architectural and mechanical design specifications, verify specification requirements, and update cost estimates.
7. Complete electrical projects by supervising installation work and resolving design issues.
8. Maintain electrical systems by establishing and implementing ongoing maintenance programs, procedures, and testing plans; scheduling repairs; and coordinating shutdowns and installation work.
9. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with applicable laws and regulations.
10. Collaborate with other team members to accomplish engineering and organizational objectives.
11. Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships.

Requirements
1. Eight to ten years of experience in infrastructure projects as an electrical manager, project manager, resident MEP technician, site construction manager, or an equivalent role.
2. At least a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, building services engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
3. Experience with hyperscale data centers, microelectronics facilities, or other critical infrastructure is preferred.
4. Experience with construction management processes covering mobilization, construction and installation, testing and commissioning, completion, and handover.

Assignment details
Location: Malaysia; working language: English; expected assignment duration: two years.

6. 制定安装计划，规划停机和安装工作，整合建筑与机械设计规范，核实规范要求并更新成本估算。
7. 监督安装工作并解决设计问题，推动电气项目完成。
8. 建立并执行持续维护计划、程序和测试方案，安排维修并协调停机及安装工作，保障电气系统正常运行。
9. 建立、遵循并执行相关标准与程序，遵守法律法规，维护安全健康的工作环境。
10. 与其他团队成员协作，完成工程和组织目标。
11. 管理供应商和分包商关系。

任职要求
1. 具备8至10年基础设施项目经验，曾担任电气经理、项目经理、驻场机电技术员、现场施工经理或同等职位。
2. 至少拥有电气工程、建筑服务工程或相关工程专业学士学位。
3. 具备超大规模数据中心、微电子设施或其他关键基础设施经验者优先。
4. 具备从进场准备、施工与安装、测试与调试到竣工和移交阶段的施工管理流程经验。
