Data Center (IDC) Project Manager

About this task

Role Overview:
Take full responsibility for the end-to-end management and operation of an overseas engineering project, including onsite construction control, client coordination, and payment collection, to ensure high-quality and efficient project delivery.

Responsibilities:
1. Liaise directly with the overseas IDC client’s core management team and oversee the full project lifecycle. Manage construction quality, schedule, onsite safety, project costs, multi-party commercial coordination, and contract performance. Advance the project in strict accordance with contractual terms and industry standards while mitigating delivery and operational risks.
2. Lead onsite construction, work-sequence planning, equipment installation, commissioning, and other implementation activities. Coordinate the domestic support team, local construction crews, subcontractors, and relevant local stakeholders to efficiently complete construction, milestone acceptance, final acceptance, handover, and delivery.
3. Work with the finance and commercial teams on final settlement, quantity verification, variation documentation, and account reconciliation. Follow up on payments at each project stage, support timely collection of project funds, and coordinate post-project operations, maintenance, and after-sales matters.

Requirements:
1. Associate degree or above in engineering management, civil engineering, MEP engineering, or a related discipline. At least five years of hands-on engineering project management experience, including no fewer than three years independently leading full-lifecycle project management. Data center project experience is required. Experience in overseas business opportunity development, early-stage commercial engagement, or project expansion is preferred, as is prior long-term overseas engineering experience.
2. CET-4 or higher English proficiency. Able to use translation tools when necessary to communicate in English in overseas work settings, including daily coordination, business communication, document completion, and onsite communication with clients and local partners.
3. Strong stakeholder coordination and onsite adaptability, with the ability to quickly resolve unexpected technical or delivery issues, construction disputes, and onsite conflicts. Able to work effectively under pressure.
4. Able to accept long-term overseas assignments and related business travel arrangements.

Location and arrangement: Based onsite in Malaysia for 6–12 months. English is the working language.

全面负责海外工程项目全周期统筹运营、现场施工管控、甲方对接及回款落地，保障项目高质高效履约交付。

岗位职责：
1. 对接海外IDC项目甲方核心管理层，统筹项目全过程闭环管理，全面把控施工质量、施工进度、现场安全生产、项目成本、多方商务协调及合同履约等工作；严格按照合同条款及行业规范推进项目，规避履约及经营风险。
2. 牵头组织IDC项目现场施工、施工工序排布、设备安装与调试等全流程实施工作；统筹协调国内后方支持团队、当地施工班组、合作分包单位及当地相关方，高效推进施工、阶段性验收、最终竣工验收、移交及交付。
3. 配合财务及商务部门完成项目竣工结算、工程量核算、签证对账等收尾商务工作；跟进各阶段款项拨付，推进工程回款，并做好项目后期运维对接及售后协调。

任职要求：
1. 大专及以上学历，工程管理、土木工程、机电工程等相关专业；具备5年及以上工程项目实操管理经验，其中不少于3年独立主导工程项目全流程管控经验；须具备数据中心项目经验。具备海外项目商机挖掘、前期商务对接及项目拓展能力者优先，有海外工程常驻经历者优先。
2. 持有大学英语四级（CET-4）及以上英语水平证书，可根据需要借助翻译软件完成海外工作场景下的英语听说读写沟通，包括与海外甲方及属地合作方进行日常工作对接、商务沟通、资料填报和现场交流。
3. 具备多方关系协调和现场应变能力，能够快速处理海外工程施工、对接及履约过程中的突发问题、施工纠纷和现场矛盾，抗压能力强。
4. 能够适应长期海外常驻工作模式及出差调配安排。

工作地点及安排：驻马来西亚现场工作6至12个月，工作语言为英语。
