MEP Project Manager – Leading Publicly Listed IDC Company

About this task

Responsibilities
1. Lead the overall planning and coordination of IDC mechanical and electrical construction, prepare construction plans, schedules, and resource plans, coordinate work across disciplines, and drive efficient project execution.
2. Ensure compliance with local building, labor, power, and fire regulations. Manage construction filings, interim inspections, power-on acceptance, completion filing, government and enterprise coordination, and local employment compliance.
3. Manage project schedules, construction quality, and costs throughout the project lifecycle. Control the quality of critical MEP activities, review engineering changes and site instructions, and mitigate budget and schedule risks.
4. Manage site safety, hazard identification and rectification, and orderly construction. Coordinate Chinese personnel, local labor, and subcontractors to ensure effective cross-cultural collaboration.
5. Coordinate the delivery and storage of construction materials and equipment, and manage subcontractors throughout the construction process to ensure adequate resources and orderly execution.
6. Organize MEP system commissioning, integrated testing, and IDC-specific acceptance. Prepare bilingual completion documentation and manage project settlement, rectification, handover, and warranty coordination.
Requirements
1. Associate degree or above in mechanical and electrical engineering, electrical engineering, HVAC, intelligent systems, or a related discipline. A Class I Mechanical and Electrical Construction Engineer certificate, Safety Officer B certificate, or intermediate-level professional title is preferred.
2. At least eight years of MEP construction management experience, including at least five years as the overall project manager for data center MEP projects, with full-cycle experience in new IDC construction, commissioning, and delivery.
3. Familiarity with local engineering compliance policies and IDC MEP construction and acceptance standards. Strong capabilities in international communication, government and enterprise coordination, team management, and problem resolution.
Work location: Malaysia. Overseas assignment duration: two years. Working languages: Chinese and English.

岗位职责
1. 负责IDC机电施工整体策划与统筹，编制施工方案、进度及资源计划，协调各专业交叉施工，高效推进项目落地。
2. 熟悉当地建筑、劳工、电力及消防法规，负责现场属地合规管控，完成施工报备、过程验收、通电验收、竣工备案等政企对接工作，严格落实本地用工合规要求。
3. 全流程管控项目进度、施工质量及施工成本，把控核心机电工序质量，审核工程变更与签证，严控预算及工期风险。
4. 负责施工现场安全生产、隐患排查整改及文明施工管理，统筹中方人员、本地劳务及本地分包团队，协调中外人员协同作业。
5. 统筹施工物资、设备进场及仓储管理，管控分包单位施工全流程，保障施工资源充足、施工有序推进。
6. 组织机电系统调试、联动测试及IDC专项验收，整理双语竣工资料，完成项目结算、整改、移交及质保对接。
任职要求
1. 大专及以上学历，机电、电气、暖通、智能化等相关专业；持有一级机电建造师、安全员B证或中级及以上职称者优先。
2. 具备8年以上机电施工管理经验、5年以上数据中心机电项目全盘项目经理经验，完整经历IDC新建、调试及交付全流程。
3. 熟悉当地工程合规政策及IDC机电施工、验收标准，具备优秀的涉外沟通、政企对接、团队统筹及问题处置能力。
