Project Engineer

About this task

Requirements:
1. At least 3 years of project management experience in the automotive components industry; experience following the full new-product development lifecycle is preferred.
2. Familiarity with new-product development and change-management requirements under IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.
3. Proficiency in quality tools including APQP, FMEA, CP, PPAP, SPC, and MSA.
4. Strong cross-functional coordination skills, risk awareness, and teamwork, with the ability to work under pressure from project milestones.
5. Fluency in written and spoken English or Spanish sufficient for use as a working language. Salary is negotiable.
Job Responsibilities:
1. New-product feasibility assessment: Conduct manufacturing feasibility analyses and risk identification for new projects, prepare TR reports, and organize technical discussions and solution reviews with the team and customers.
2. New-product development management: Lead advanced product quality planning for new projects, prepare development schedules, manage risks, coordinate resources to resolve development issues, ensure internal cost and quality targets and customer sample-delivery requirements are met, and facilitate the transition to mass production.
3. Change management: Advance engineering changes according to company processes, assess change feasibility, follow up on implementation plans, conduct new-product quality validation, and manage breakpoints to ensure timely PPAP approval and a smooth transition between old and new products.
4. Customer coordination: Manage customer requirements during the new-product development stage and support customer audits concerning project and change management.
5. Complete other tasks assigned by supervisors. Candidates must be able to accept a long-term overseas assignment, with one or two trips back to China each year.

4、具备良好的跨部门协调能力、风险识别意识及团队协作精神，能够适应项目节点压力；
5、英语或西班牙语可作为工作语言，听说读写流利；薪资面议。
工作职责：
1、新品可行性评估：负责新项目制造可行性分析与风险识别，编制TR报告，组织团队与客户进行技术对接和方案讨论；
2、新品开发管理：主导新项目先期质量策划，制定开发日程并管控风险，协调资源解决开发异常，确保满足内部成本、质量目标及客户交样要求，推动项目顺利转入量产；
3、变更管理：按照流程推进工程变更，负责变更可行性评估、实施计划跟进、新品质量验证及断点管理，确保PPAP及时获批及新旧产品平稳过渡；
4、客户对接：负责新品开发阶段的客户需求对接，应对客户在项目管理及变更管理方面的审核；
5、完成上级交办的其他工作。可接受长期驻外，每年回国1—2次。
