Swedish Localization QA Video Game Tester

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Review Swedish translations in video games and related software, including text and audio content.
- Record spelling, grammar, syntax, punctuation, and translation errors in the designated database.
- Suggest suitable corrections and identify inconsistencies involving context, story, or terminology.
- Verify that content is appropriately adapted to Swedish language, culture, and market expectations.
- Report completed checks to the Lead Tester using evaluation sheets or checklists.

Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of Swedish language and culture.
- Strong written and spoken English and the ability to understand English texts of varying complexity.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Comfortable using Excel, Google Sheets, Google Drive, and other standard IT tools.
- Translation or localization experience is an asset.
- Availability for at least three days per week in the Montreal office.
