Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical research, development, and quality improvement of runtime animation systems for a dual-perspective shooter.
- Design, validate, and implement solutions for aiming, weapon handling, procedural animation, animation graphs, and state orchestration.
- Diagnose animation-quality issues across assets, engine systems, gameplay, and runtime presentation in first-person and third-person perspectives.
- Define technical standards, review criteria, diagnostic methods, and acceptance processes for animation.
- Collaborate with animation, programming, and game-design teams to turn technical solutions into executable development plans.
- Lead and mentor animation technical artists, guide complex problem-solving, and build team capabilities while prioritizing project delivery.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in game animation and animation technical-art development, preferably on high-quality realistic PvP shooters.
- Strong understanding of dual-perspective shooter movement, aiming, weapon handling, combat states, and runtime performance.
- Ability to independently own the design, development, validation, and delivery of core runtime animation systems.
- Experience with the complete game-development pipeline and at least one mainstream or proprietary engine.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and the ability to establish standards, break down development tasks, and guide other technical artists.
