Polish QA Proofreader

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Proofread Polish video game text for spelling, syntax, typography, and consistency.
- Recommend corrections, write error reports, perform minor translations, and verify that subtitles match audio tracks.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in spoken and written Polish and English.
- Must live in the Ottawa area and be available to work from home or in the office according to project needs.
- Must hold valid Canadian work authorization.
- Strong time-management skills and comfort with computers, consoles, and touchscreens.
- Interest in video games; related experience is an asset.

The role is an on-call freelance contract. Pay is $19.75 per hour, plus $2.50 per hour after 7:00 PM. Benefits include paid training, accrued vacation, an internet subsidy for home working, and two paid sick or personal days per year after probation.
