German LQA Specialist

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Test German in-game text for grammar, syntax, spelling, punctuation, context, and cultural appropriateness.
- Verify that localized text is implemented and displayed correctly and uses approved terminology consistently.
- Identify, isolate, and document linguistic, implementation, and user-interface defects in a bug database.
- Retest resolved defects and execute test cases and checklists.
- Collaborate with German translators, linguists, and external vendors to maintain linguistic quality.
- Support translation-related linguistic tasks when required.
- Develop knowledge of game mechanics and debugging menus and help create test cases from templates.

Requirements:
- Native-level German and excellent written and verbal English.
- Strong interest in video games and the gaming industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and clear, concise documentation skills.
- Good PC knowledge; proficiency with Google Workspace is preferred.
- Strong collaboration, intercultural communication, problem-solving, and deadline-management skills.
- A university degree, equivalent qualification, or relevant experience.
