LQA Game Tester (German)

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Test localized video games on PC, console, virtual reality, mobile, and tablet platforms.
- Identify and report spelling, grammar, punctuation, translation, terminology, cultural, and user-interface issues.
- Verify that localized content is accurate in context and follows console manufacturer guidelines.
- Check dates, calendars, characters, images, and other content for correct display and formatting.
- Document bugs clearly, recommend improvements, and perform ad hoc translation when required.
- Collaborate with multilingual project teams and maintain the quality of assigned work.

Requirements:
- Fluency in German and conversational English.
- Strong understanding of German language and culture.
- Excellent attention to detail, clear communication, and effective research skills.
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with Excel and common software applications.
- No previous localization testing experience is required.
- Candidates must be located within the Schengen Area.
- Freelance remote engagement.
