About the Role
Evaluate machine-generated translations from English into Portuguese (Portugal) through A/B preference testing. Reviews are completed independently in a blind process.

Project Details
- Location: Remote, Portugal.
- Commitment: 2 weeks.
- Employment type: Freelance contract.
- Pay rate: $10/hour.

Responsibilities
- Review English source documents alongside two machine-generated Portuguese (Portugal) translations.
- Assess accuracy, fluency, and overall translation quality; select the preferred version and provide a written justification.
- Review audio files and corresponding transcriptions for accuracy, completeness, and overall quality.
- Assess transcription and audio quality according to project guidelines.
- Complete assigned samples independently and on time while following project and client guidelines.

Requirements
- Native-level written and spoken Portuguese and proficiency in English.
- Strong written communication skills in Portuguese, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and consistently.
- A background in linguistics, translation, or language quality assessment is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant Romanized script conventions is a plus for transliteration tasks.
