About this task
Role overview
Join a small innovation team as the founding UX Designer for a new AI-native content transformation product. Work with product, data, R&D, and customers to shape a human-centred experience that balances automation, user agency, and trust.
Responsibilities
- Direct discovery and UX design for the product development squad, introducing UX best practices and new approaches.
- Define and prototype experiences from early sketches through detailed user flows and clickable prototypes.
- Make complex AI and content transformation workflows intuitive for enterprise users, including marketing, website, and compliance teams.
- Partner with product and data leads to validate hypotheses, run rapid user tests, and draw insights from real usage.
- Create and maintain a lightweight design system that supports fast iteration and a consistent UI.
- Champion simplicity and usability in a system handling high volumes of work, helping users identify where they can add value.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D to ensure prototypes are buildable and scalable.
- Learn how users’ needs are evolving and devise new ways to engage them.
Requirements
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with SaaS, productivity tools, or data-heavy products involving humans in the loop.
- Strength in designing complex systems and taking a new product from zero to one.
- Fluency with Figma, FigJam, Miro, or similar tools, and experience building design systems from scratch.
- Comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and testing hypotheses in lean cycles.
- Ability to discuss ideas with customers, internal subject-matter experts, product managers, and engineering teams.
- Experience with language technology, AI tools, or enterprise workflow systems is a plus.
