About the role

Record Spanish voice samples for a language technology project. The desired voice is female and mature-sounding, approximately 35–55 years old, with natural pauses, disfluencies and word emphasis rather than a polished or robotic delivery. The tone should be conversational, approachable, friendly, empathetic, patient and confident. Speech must be clear and easy to follow, at a consistent, moderate pace.

Requirements

- Be a native speaker of the target Spanish locale, with experience in voice acting, narration, podcasting or streaming.
- Have access to a high-quality home recording setup, including recording software, a microphone, a headset or speakers, an audio interface, a professional digital audio workstation and a quiet, treated recording space.
- Follow technical specifications for volume, file naming, format, segment spacing and audio quality; provide demo or sample recordings.
- Meet tight delivery deadlines when engaged and be open to licensing your voice for AI voice cloning or text-to-speech training.
- Depending on the project, complete a test to verify suitability.

Work arrangement

Independent-contractor work with flexible scheduling and no fixed hours. Project availability varies.
