About the role

Write original, human-authored Marathi text samples across subject domains to support language-data and AI-evaluation initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Write original text in an area of expertise, such as law, business, biography, religion, philosophy or poetry, using a provided prompt as the starting point.
- Do not use AI tools, translation tools or copied material.
- Attest in writing that submissions are original and agree not to publish them elsewhere under the project's confidentiality terms.

Requirements

- Native-level Marathi fluency and strong writing skills.
- Demonstrable subject-matter expertise in at least one relevant domain; prior professional, academic or published writing experience is preferred.
- Strong command of domain-appropriate style, tone and structure, and the ability to work independently from a prompt with minimal creative guidance.
- Strict adherence to originality and confidentiality requirements.

Work arrangement

Remote independent-contractor work with variable project availability and no guaranteed hours. Most tasks require at least two hours per day or ten hours per week once accepted; accepted tasks must be completed on time. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and do not receive employee benefits.
