Location: Reston, VA
Employment: Freelance, as needed. The position is contingent upon contract award.
Travel: Must be available to travel for 4-10 weeks at a time.
Responsibilities:
- Provide translation, interpreting and transcription services for Commissions hearings and interviews held at a U.S. Naval Station.
- Provide simultaneous interpretation of colloquial, idiomatic and formal discourse.
- Translate general and technical legal materials.
- Transcribe English audio and video discovery materials.
Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship and willingness to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with legal or court settings and terminology.
- ILR 4 proficiency in listening, reading, writing and speaking.
- Current TS/SCI clearance.
