- Build reliable, auditable workflows that connect production systems while meeting confidentiality and security requirements.
- Improve the productivity and quality of translation memories, terminology and other linguistic assets, including fuzzy-match optimization and reuse. Direct specialist work and measure its impact.
- Improve data flows and integrations across Plunet, Phrase, HubSpot, Jira, ATAI, finance and QA systems. Partner with Technology on architecture, security and infrastructure.
- Help establish and lead a small agile team focused on localization engineering, automation, linguistic data, analytics and workflow tooling. Work with linguistic operations to turn production needs into technical plans, support adoption across teams and track operational outcomes.
- Identify improvements that could have broader product potential.
Requirements

- Direct experience with language technology, such as CAT/TMS tools, machine translation platforms or technical translation workflows. Understanding of translation memory, terminology management and professional translation processes, including MTPE, revision and QA.
- Practical integration and API experience, plus a record of leading technical or cross-functional teams and delivering tools that operational teams adopt.
- Preferred: familiarity with LLM-based translation, RAG, quality estimation, DevOps, CI/CD, data pipelines or regulated-industry workflows. Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is an asset.
Benefits and work arrangements
- Hybrid work for candidates in Toronto or Montreal, with a mix of office collaboration and remote flexibility. Health coverage, birthday leave, six personal or sick days, work equipment upon request, learning opportunities and an employee referral program.
