Senior Technical Illustrator

Responsibilities:
- Create technical diagrams, infographics, icons, conceptual graphics and other visual assets; occasional creative illustration accounts for approximately 5% of the work.
- Turn complex technical information into clear, accurate visuals in collaboration with writers, content strategists, engineers, product teams and subject-matter experts.
- Apply brand standards, style guidelines and accessibility requirements, with training and guidance provided for accessibility.
- Prepare and optimize JPG, PNG, SVG and EPS assets for digital use, considering resolution and aspect ratios.
- Use Markdown, GitHub and Cursor in the content workflow, with training provided. Maintain editable source files and production-ready assets, manage revisions and meet deadlines while working remotely.

Requirements:
- Expert Adobe Illustrator proficiency and at least three years of professional experience; advanced Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
- A portfolio of technical diagrams, infographics and vector graphics that communicate complex concepts.
- Knowledge of digital graphics production and brand systems; strong attention to visual quality and technical accuracy.
- Strong written and spoken English, organizational skills and ability to work independently with a remote team.
- Experience with conceptual illustration, reusable vector assets, graphics for documentation and other media, or technical subjects such as networking, cloud, security and software architecture is preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Markdown, GitHub, Cursor, accessibility practices and AI-assisted creative workflows is helpful but not required.
