Polish Contract Interpreter

About this task

Contract responsibilities:
- Provide consecutive, first-person Polish–English interpretation remotely for on-demand assignments.
- Follow client interpreter protocols and procedures, and comply with confidentiality and interpreter ethics requirements.
- Continue developing vocabulary and subject-matter knowledge for assignments that may involve medical, legal or social-services topics.

Requirements:
- Demonstrate English proficiency at ILR level 3 or higher and pass a mock oral interpretation assessment evaluated against 24 quality standards.
- Pass an online medical terminology, anatomy and physiology assessment.
- Complete a background check and security screening, and commit to confidentiality, professional ethics and HIPAA compliance.
- At least one year of interpreting experience is preferred.
