Production Manager (Translation)

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Manage translated-book production from AI-assisted translation through editing, proofreading, formatting review, final quality assurance, and publication readiness.
- Review AI-generated translations for accuracy, fluency, grammar, readability, tone, and consistency in terminology and style.
- Identify and resolve translation, formatting, and production issues before manuscripts advance to the next stage.
- Coordinate with proofreading, formatting, design, and publishing teams; monitor production queues and deadlines.
- Track project progress and revisions, check deliverables against editorial standards, and improve production workflows.

Requirements:
- Excellent command of English and professional proficiency in at least one of German, Portuguese, French, or Italian.
- Experience in translation, localization, editorial production, publishing, or content quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of grammar, style, and editorial practices, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience with AI-powered writing, editing, or translation tools such as ChatGPT, DeepL, Claude, or Gemini.
- Strong organizational, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple projects independently.
