Designer/Illustrator

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and create book covers and illustrations according to guidance from production managers and authors.
- Work directly with authors and production managers to align designs with authors’ visions and expectations.
- Use AI tools to create illustrations that meet quality standards.
- Deliver work to tight deadlines and adapt artistic styles to different genres and project needs.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience in illustration and book-cover design, supported by a portfolio showing previous work and creative process.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, a constructive attitude, and a commitment to improving creative work.
- Familiarity with publishing-industry cover-design standards is advantageous.
