Spanish Interpreter

About this task

Position
- Full-time, remote English–Spanish medical interpreter role using over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI). Start date: September 2026.

Responsibilities
- Provide accurate consecutive interpretation between English and Spanish for medical, social services, customer service, and financial calls.
- Facilitate communication between healthcare providers and patients to support understanding and care.

Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with mandatory remote interpretation experience in both languages.
- Medical terminology knowledge; medical, customer service, social services, and financial call interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, relevant medical interpretation or related certification, and HIPAA compliance.

Remote-work requirements
- Full-time availability, five days per week with two days off.
- Ethernet connection directly to the router; Wi-Fi is not permitted.
- Noise-canceling microphone and USB headset: Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Plantronics Blackwire C3220 (Poly), or Microsoft LifeChat LX-6000.
- Latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox; i5 or higher processor, sixth generation or newer; camera with at least 1080p resolution.
