Location and work arrangement:

Responsibilities:
- Provide simultaneous ASL–English interpretation, independently or in teams, conveying the speaker’s meaning and relevant cultural and linguistic information.
- Interpret and transliterate between ASL and spoken English using manual and oral communication methods.
- Maintain confidentiality, communicate effectively, keep accurate records, and meet schedules.

Qualifications:
- Advanced skills interpreting between spoken English and ASL, including accurate voicing.
- Familiarity with the Americans with Disabilities Act and a broad range of interpreting assignments.
- Knowledge of specialized vocabulary, including medical, supply-chain, and business terminology.
- At least one of the following: National Interpreter Certification (NIC), Certificate of Interpretation (CI), or Certificate of Transliteration (CT).
