Spanish Interpreter

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate accurate, complete and culturally appropriate communication between English-speaking representatives and people with limited English proficiency through over-the-phone interpretation (OPI) and video remote interpretation (VRI).
- Interpret conversations involving healthcare, customer service, insurance, pharmacy, social services, financial assistance, scheduling and general client communications.
- Maintain confidentiality, impartiality and professional ethical standards, including during difficult or emotional conversations.

Requirements:
- At least one year of professional interpretation experience.
- Native or near-native fluency in English and Spanish.
- Excellent verbal communication, active listening, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to interpret complex conversations across multiple industries with cultural sensitivity and professionalism.
- Experience providing OPI and VRI; readiness to work in both modalities.
- Strong computer literacy and ability to navigate multiple software applications simultaneously.
- Healthcare, hospital, insurance, pharmacy, social services or government interpretation experience is preferred.

Pay: $6 per hour.
