Mandarin Chinese Consecutive Interpreter – On-Demand

Responsibilities:
- Provide consecutive Mandarin Chinese–English interpretation during phone calls, meetings, conferences, interviews, and other assignments.
- Listen to the speaker and accurately convey the message in the other language.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
- Respect HIPAA requirements and comply with applicable protocols, policies, and industry practices.

Requirements:
- At least three years of experience or 3,000 hours of active interpretation.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with proof of English proficiency at the “Technical Proficiency” level on the ILR scale or equivalent.
- A passing mock-call assessment, an updated résumé showing relevant interpretation experience, and a criminal background check in English.
- A headset, stable internet connection, and laptop.
