About this task
Responsibilities:
- Verify the linguistic accuracy of in-game text and identify spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
- Check the cosmetic integrity of localized text and ensure that it is displayed correctly.
- Identify, isolate, and clearly document bugs using the provided tools and bug-reporting databases.
- Confirm that reported bugs have been fixed and implemented correctly.
- Follow documented testing processes and maintain close attention to detail throughout each project.
Requirements:
- Excellent German spelling and grammar, with a strong understanding of German cultural and linguistic nuances.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to communicate in English or Japanese; proficiency in Japanese is beneficial but not required.
- Must currently reside in Tokyo and be legally authorized to work in Japan.
Employment details and benefits:
- Short-term, project-based part-time contract.
- Working hours are generally 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, including a one-hour lunch break. Some projects offer flexible hours.
- Hourly wage of ¥1,300 to ¥1,500, depending on performance and hours worked.
- Commuting expenses covered up to ¥30,000.
- Casual dress code.
