LQA Game Tester (Simplified Chinese) - Freelance Remote

About this task

Role Summary:
Work within a multilingual Localization Quality Assurance team to review localized games across PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation VR2, mobile, and tablet platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and correct Simplified Chinese spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
- Verify translations in context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and check the display and formatting of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Ensure compliance with console manufacturer guidelines.
- Document errors and bugs, recommend improvements, and perform ad hoc translation.
- Collaborate with the global project team and maintain the quality of assigned work.

Requirements:
- Fluency in Simplified Chinese and conversational English.
- Strong cultural understanding of Simplified Chinese-language markets.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
- Strong internet research skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using different software, applications, and websites.
- Clear, concise communication and effective project-team collaboration.
- Must be located within Europe.
- No prior experience is required; training is provided.
