Translation Validator — Hebrew
Location: Remote (Israel)
Employment type: Freelance contract
Project commitment: 2 weeks
Pay rate: $19.80/hour
Responsibilities:
- Review English source documents alongside two machine-generated Hebrew translations.
- Compare the translations for accuracy, fluency, and overall quality; select the preferred version and provide a written justification.
- Complete assigned samples independently, on time, and in accordance with project and client guidelines. Each sample is reviewed by three independent validators in a blind process.
Requirements:
- Native-level written and spoken Hebrew and proficiency in English.
- Strong written communication skills in Hebrew, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- A background in linguistics, translation, or language quality assessment is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant Romanized-script conventions is a plus for transliteration tasks.
