Dutch Linguist -Newsfeed Editing

About this task

Location and contract:
- Initially a fixed-term contract, based at London Bridge on a hybrid schedule. The location field also lists the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:
- Assess English-to-Dutch machine translations of financial, business and economic news.
- Review initial QA results from the Data Strategy team and spot-check automated output daily for linguistic quality and accuracy.
- Implement correction policies for Dutch-language products.
- Build glossaries and prompts, and test improvements to translation output.
- Share findings with global colleagues to improve translation quality and workflows.
- Map third-party content for the Dutch-language offering and translate predefined templates for automated content.
- Work with Product, Editorial, customers and partners on translation-related tasks.

Requirements:
- Fluent to native-level Dutch and English (minimum C2 as stated in the posting), with strong knowledge of financial and economic news terminology.
- Experience using machine translation and GenAI.
- Broad understanding of financial concepts; experience in a financial-focused newsroom is preferred.
