Responsibilities
Show Ownership and Editorial Strategy
- Own multiple shows end-to-end, from pre-editorial planning to post-release optimization.
- Review and approve concept notes, localization approaches, and adaptation frameworks.
- Ensure consistency in tone and narrative quality across episodes and seasons.
Content Development and Adaptation
- Oversee script adaptation and localization workflows executed by Junior Writers.
- Ensure scripts meet editorial standards and maintain cultural relevance and storytelling depth.
- Guide the use of GenAI tools for structured, high-quality script adaptation.
- Provide detailed feedback and direction to refine scripts before production.
Team Management and Leadership
- Manage and mentor Junior Writers assigned to individual shows.
- Review outputs, provide constructive feedback, and maintain consistent team quality.
- Drive accountability, productivity, and skill development.
- Foster a creative culture focused on storytelling excellence and user impact.
Production Collaboration and Quality Control
- Provide feedback on voice-over, production quality, and final audio output.
- Ensure alignment between scripts and produced audio content.

User-Centric Content Improvement
- Analyze user feedback, comments, and listening patterns to refine storytelling.

- Guide the development of promotional concepts and scripts for assigned shows.
- Ensure promotional material aligns with each show's narrative hook and audience appeal.
AI-Assisted Editorial Workflows
- Use AI tools hands-on for editorial workflows, script development, research, adaptation, and content optimization.
- Apply editorial judgment to maintain narrative quality, factual consistency, cultural sensitivity, and platform standards.
- Stay updated on emerging AI trends, storytelling formats, and editorial best practices.
- Experiment with AI-enabled workflows to improve content quality, personalization, production speed, and team efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Literature, Creative Writing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in scriptwriting, content localization, or storytelling for audio/video platforms.
- Strong leadership experience managing writers or creative teams.
- Deep understanding of narrative structure, pacing, and audience engagement.
- Experience with AI-based writing or adaptation tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance data to inform decisions.
- Excellent communication, feedback, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shows and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
