About this task

Position Overview
Perform Korean-to-English subtitle and template quality assurance, and edit dubbing scripts and related reference documents to ensure high-quality localization. Review, edit and proofread subtitles, scripts and dubbing reference documents for linguistic accuracy. Ensure client guidelines, requirements and feedback are understood and incorporated into deliverables while maintaining creative integrity and client specifications.

Responsibilities: Subtitling
- Conduct subtitle and template reviews, ensuring grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency and fluency.
- Escalate quality issues and collaborate with production teams for timely resolution.
- Validate feedback with language leads and evaluators as needed.
- Train and onboard new QA Specialists, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
- Participate in internal training sessions to stay updated on industry standards and workflows.

Responsibilities: Scripting
- Review and edit scripts and related documents for dubbing projects.
- Adjust scripting format and ensure original content and metadata accuracy for spoken dialogue and text elements.
- Annotate cultural and contextual notes to support accurate dubbing adaptation.
- Perform quality assurance on translated scripts and finalize deliverables to meet client specifications.
- Ensure scripts are error-free and meet industry standards and unique client specifications.

Requirements
- Extensive experience in editing for subtitling and scripting.
- Strong written and oral Korean and English language skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented and capable of working under tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining close attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite and general software tools.
- Well-rounded knowledge of historical and contemporary events, cultural references, slang and idioms.
