Employment, Location and Schedule

- Full-time, permanent position.
- Location: Perivale, London.
- Night shifts: 8:00 pm to 8:00 am, four days on and four days off.
- Work as part of a 24/7 team.

Position Summary

Prepare source assets, perform quality control and create digital cinema deliverables for worldwide distribution. Work with multimedia formats, including QuickTime files and Digital Cinema Packages (DCPs), using manual and automated creation methods. Handle image, sound and subtitle elements from different source formats and conform them to client specifications and DCI standards for theatrical release.

Responsibilities

- Master feature and trailer DCPs, including dubbed, subtitled, 2D, 3D, 2K, 4K and HFR versions.
- Use DVS Clipster, Transkoder, Pro Tools and Avid Media Encoder.
- Review content and check the quality of a wide variety of materials.
- Create and distribute short-form ProRes master files and downstream deliverables for global distribution.
- Check and conform source files in preparation for DCP mastering.
- Create censor cuts using creative editing techniques.
- Validate DCPs.
- Perform quality-control checks on all forms of departmental deliverables.
- Analyze information and maintain accurate records in work-order and catalogue systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Troubleshoot DCP issues raised internally and externally.

- Ability to solve problems creatively and identify inefficiencies in workflows and processes.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
