General Manager, Logistics

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Lead the logistics company's overall operations and management, meeting the company's targets for transport volume, costs, and safety.
- Establish and improve logistics operating systems, policies, and procedures covering transport dispatch, warehouse management, vehicle maintenance, and safety management.
- Manage the company-owned fleet and external suppliers, coordinating the transportation and delivery of fuel, mineral materials, equipment, and spare parts.
- Manage Chinese and local teams, including performance evaluations, team building, and employee relations.
- Manage budgets and control costs, continuously optimize logistics costs, conduct commercial negotiations, and review cooperation contracts.
- Implement operational safety management, reduce traffic accidents and material losses, and handle emergencies.
- Liaise with the group's business units, coordinate business requirements, and regularly submit operational analysis reports to headquarters.

Requirements:
- Aged 35–50, with a bachelor's degree or above; majors in logistics management, supply chain, transportation, business administration, or related disciplines are preferred.
- More than eight years of comprehensive management experience in logistics, including at least three years as a logistics general manager, deputy general manager, or an equivalent role with comprehensive operational responsibility. Logistics management experience in Africa is preferred.
- Willingness to undertake a long-term assignment in Mozambique and travel to mining areas and project sites, with strong ability to work under pressure.
- Good spoken and written English, including listening and reading skills, sufficient to communicate directly with local suppliers and employees. Portuguese proficiency is preferred.

岗位职责：
- 全面主持物流公司整体经营管理工作，完成公司下达的运输量、成本、安全等经营指标。
- 搭建并完善物流运营体系，建立运输调度、仓储管理、车辆维保、安全管理等制度流程。
- 管理自有车队及外协供应商，统筹油品、矿料、设备零部件的运输配送。
- 管理中方及本地团队，开展绩效考核、团队建设，处理劳资关系。
- 负责预算、成本管控，持续优化物流成本；负责商务谈判及各类合作合同评审。
- 落实安全生产管理，降低交通事故、物资损耗，处理各类突发事件。
- 对接集团内部各事业部，协调业务需求，定期向总部提交经营分析报告。

任职要求：
- 年龄35–50周岁，大学本科及以上学历，物流管理、供应链、交通运输、工商管理等相关专业优先。
- 8年以上物流行业全面管理经验，其中至少3年物流总经理、物流副总或同等全面操盘岗位经验；有海外非洲物流运营管理经验优先。
- 能接受长期驻外莫桑比克，适应矿区、项目现场出差，抗压能力强。
- 具备良好英文听说读写能力，可直接和当地供应商、属地员工开展业务沟通；掌握葡萄牙语者优先。
