Quality Control Specialist for AI/ML (Arabic Language)

About this task

Flexible, project-based Arabic language quality-control work supporting an AI speech recognition project. Review completed annotation tasks to ensure AI-generated transcripts have been converted into natural, readable display text according to project guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Review completed Display Transcription tasks for accuracy and consistency.
- Compare display text with the original lexical transcript and project guidelines.
- Check punctuation, capitalization, numbers, dates, times, currencies, abbreviations, and other text-normalization rules.
- Ensure original words and meaning are preserved.
- Identify and correct formatting and guideline-related errors.
- Consult reference audio when needed to resolve ambiguous cases.
- Apply project-specific quality standards consistently.
- Provide accurate feedback and flag recurring issues when required.
- Meet project deadlines and productivity targets.

Requirements:
- Excellent written Arabic skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of punctuation and written-language conventions.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies and apply detailed guidelines consistently.
- Basic computer skills and a reliable internet connection.
- Ability to work independently and meet quality and productivity targets.
- Previous experience in transcription, proofreading, quality control, annotation, or linguistic projects is a plus.
