Short-term Spanish Localization/IT Specialist

About this task

Short-term, project-based employee role supporting Spanish-language localization and testing of in-car infotainment systems with a technology team in Sunnyvale, California.

Employment details:
- Term: 2 months.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday during standard business hours, up to 40 hours per week.
- Location: 11th Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94089; onsite.
- Start date: November 1, 2026.
- Payrate range: $45 to $50 USD per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Speak Spanish utterances and commands to voice-enabled devices.
- Translate and document written and verbal commands from Spanish to English and English to Spanish.
- Run voice-based tests and read Spanish text to help rerun tests.
- Learn and perform software QA testing to check that in-car infotainment systems work as expected.

Requirements:
- Spanish bilingual fluency, including speaking and reading, and the ability to translate between Spanish and English.
- Associate's degree or higher in any field.
- At least 1 year of Spanish translation, interpretation, teaching, or related experience.
- Willingness to learn software QA testing.

Preferred qualifications:
- QA testing experience.
- AI/LLM experience.
- Experience using Alexa, Siri, Google Voice, or similar voice-enabled products.
