Short-term Italian Localization/IT Specialist

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Work with a technology team in Sunnyvale, California, to check that in-car infotainment systems function as expected.
- Speak Italian utterances and commands to voice-enabled devices.
- Translate and document written and spoken commands between Italian and English.
- Read Italian text, run voice-based tests, and help re-run tests.
- Learn to perform software QA testing.

Requirements:
- Bilingual fluency in Italian and English.
- Associate's degree or higher in any field.
- At least one year of experience in Italian translation, interpretation, teaching, or a related area.
- QA testing experience, AI/LLM experience, and experience using Alexa, Siri, or Google Voice are preferred.

Employment terms:
- Short-term, project-based employee position lasting two months.
- Monday to Friday during standard business hours, up to 40 hours per week.
- Onsite location: 11th Ave, Sunnyvale, CA 94089.
- Start date: November 1, 2026.
- Payrate range: $45 to $50 USD per hour.
