Thai Translator and Interpreter

About this task

One Thai translator and interpreter is required for a bridge project on Ko Lanta or the Songkhla Lake bridge project in Thailand.

Responsibilities:
- Provide Chinese–Thai interpreting and written translation for an overseas infrastructure project, including on-site interpreting, business negotiations, government liaison and meetings.
- Translate engineering contracts, correspondence, official documents, tax and personnel materials, and project reports accurately and professionally.
- Liaise with local clients, government authorities and partners in Thailand, supporting daily communication, coordination and local matters.
- Assist with administration, human resources, compliance and visa matters to support project delivery.

Requirements:
- Thai language major, with Thai proficiency at TEM-8 or CATTI Level 2 or above, and strong listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation skills.
- Willingness to work and live in Thailand long term. Overseas engineering project experience is preferred.

Location: Ko Lanta, Krabi Province, or Songkhla Lake, Thailand.
Working hours: Eight hours per day, six days per week, with occasional overtime.
Compensation: 15–21K per month, with 13 salary payments per year as stated in the salary field. Thai nationals are also welcome; compensation is negotiable for these candidates.
Benefits: Meals, accommodation, flights, a work visa and daily necessities are provided. Employees receive 21 days of paid leave after every five months of service.

岗位职责：
- 负责中资海外基建项目中泰双语口译、笔译，包括项目现场随行翻译、商务谈判、政府对接及会议翻译。
- 翻译工程合同、函件、公文、税务人事资料、项目报表等文件，确保专业准确。
- 对接泰国当地业主、政府部门及合作方，协助日常沟通协调和本地化事务。
- 配合项目行政、人事、合规、签证等辅助工作，保障项目正常推进。

任职要求：
- 泰语专业，专八或CATTI 2级及以上水平，泰语听说读写译基本功扎实。
- 能适应长期驻泰工作和生活，有海外工程项目经验优先。

工作地点：泰国甲米府兰达岛或宋卡湖。
工作时间：每周6天，每天8小时，偶有加班。
薪资待遇：15–21K/月；薪资字段注明13薪。也接受泰国籍候选人，工资另议。
福利：包食宿、机票、工签、生活用品；每满5个月享21天带薪年假。
