AdLoc – Translation Evaluation

About this task

Responsibilities
- Evaluate the quality of localized videos and images by comparing source and target assets.
- Assess translation, text extraction, in-painting, rendering, and text group tracking.
- Verify that localized content preserves the original meaning, commercial intent, visual style, and formatting while effectively communicating the message to the target audience in their language.

Requirements
- Native proficiency in the target language.
- Proficiency in the source language, with the ability to accurately interpret content and assess linguistic issues.
- Attention to detail and comfort with linguistic, stylistic, and technical evaluation, particularly synchronicity.
- Basic understanding of transcription formats and media content review processes.
- Ability to understand and consistently apply complex client guidelines.
- Prior experience in transcription QA, subtitling, captioning, media localization, or related linguistic quality assurance projects is preferred.

Compensation
- $12 USD per hour.
