QA Director (Manila)

About this task

Lead Manila QA operations and drive the site's operational, financial, and organisational performance. Work closely with the COO, global function leaders, commercial teams, and other senior stakeholders to align site delivery with global strategy and local business and customer needs.

Global and site operations:
- Lead the site's overall performance and development.
- Lead the Manila site reset, focusing on operational excellence, efficiency, cost management, and employee engagement.
- Ensure sufficient people, space, hardware, IT, and operational capacity for current and future business demand.
- Balance productivity, utilisation, capacity, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with global and local leaders on cross-functional delivery.

Organisational leadership:
- Establish and maintain an effective local leadership and operating structure.
- Optimise the Manila test floor operating model and support development of the wider global operating model.
- Drive operational consistency and performance against global standards.
- Develop and coach local leaders, support talent development and succession planning, and promote accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

Commercial and customer partnership:
- Partner with commercial and solutions teams on new business, pilots, revenue growth, and customer delivery.
- Ensure sufficient operational capability and capacity for new opportunities.
- Lead local teams in delivering customer satisfaction.
- Support strategic customer relationships and local customer escalations.

Financial and business performance:
- Own the Manila country profit and loss and deliver performance against the agreed budget.
