Audio Quality Assurance Reviewer - Spanish (Colombia)

About this task

Work location: Remote in Colombia.
Engagement model: Independent contractor/freelance; part-time.
Estimated workload: 25 hours. Availability of up to 25 hours per week is preferred.
Estimated project duration: 2 weeks, with the possibility of extension.
Estimated start date: Immediate.
Languages required: Spanish (Colombia) and English.

Review recorded audio for a Text-to-Speech (TTS) development project, assessing linguistic accuracy, narrative style, and overall audio quality against project guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Review pronunciation and natural speech delivery.
- Verify whether the speaker is a native Spanish (Colombia) speaker.
- Evaluate whether the narrative style matches the required style.
- Assess the speaker’s perceived gender and estimate perceived age.
- Verify adherence to scripts and project guidelines.
- Identify and report background noise, distortion, clipping, and other recording defects.
- Record evaluation results accurately according to the guidelines.

Requirements:
- Idiomatic fluency in Spanish (Colombia) and good English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, listening skills, and analytical skills.
- Ability to follow written guidelines and procedures, work independently, and meet deadlines.

Preferred:
- Previous experience reviewing audio recordings.
- Experience with speech, voice, or language-related projects.
- Familiarity with audio quality assessment processes.
