Video Editor - Spanish Content

About this task

Remote freelance video-editing role based in Mexico, producing Spanish-language episode videos by adapting approved English-language source videos to supplied Spanish episode audio.

Responsibilities:
- Generate Spanish SRT subtitle files from episode audio using client-provided AI tools.
- Combine English motion videos with corresponding Spanish audio and synchronize sound and visuals.
- Review the Spanish narrative and rearrange source visuals to support the story.
- Add Spanish subtitles and submit motion episodes for quality control.
- Use supplied English image sheets, Spanish audio, SRT files, and designated AI tools to produce stills videos.
- Check subtitle completeness, readability, and alignment with the supplied Spanish audio.
- Address quality-control feedback and resubmit episodes until final approval.
- Collaborate with the content team and stakeholders to clarify materials, story alignment, feedback, and delivery requirements.
- Follow production standards and communicate progress, delivery status, and blockers to the reporting manager.
- Deliver polished videos within agreed timelines.
- Stay current with relevant video-editing, subtitling, and AI-assisted production workflows, and adopt new client-provided tools, templates, and processes.
