LQA Game Tester (European Spanish) - Full Time Onsite

About this task

Full-time, onsite localization QA position in Braga, Portugal, testing games localized into European Spanish.

Responsibilities:
- Work within a multilingual project team to check localized text, images, and user interfaces for linguistic accuracy and cultural consistency.
- Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors.
- Ensure translations are accurate in context and terminology and imagery remain consistent.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and check the display and formatting of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Check adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log errors and bugs, write reports, and suggest improvements.
- Perform ad hoc translation and maintain the quality of your work.
- Test games across PC, consoles, VR, mobile, and tablet platforms.

Requirements:
- Fluency in European Spanish and conversational English.
- Strong cultural understanding of the target language.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Excel, and strong internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using different software, applications, and websites.
- Clear, concise communication and effective teamwork.
- No prior professional experience required.
