Senior AI Engineer

About this task

Deliver useful, reliable machine-learning-based solutions by connecting user needs with appropriate data, technologies, and engineering approaches. Work with internal business and development teams on end-to-end solutions spanning LLM-powered workflows, Python services, third-party automation tools, data integrations, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Own technical delivery of internal machine-learning automation projects, from solution design through deployment and continuous improvement.
- Design and configure LLM-powered workflows using prompts, tools, APIs, MCPs, business rules, knowledge sources, and automation platforms.
- Integrate agentic AI tools with Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, technical documentation, project-knowledge repositories, business-process tools, GitLab, Perforce, bug-management software, and Unreal Engine through APIs and MCPs.
- Build and maintain scalable software solutions using Python and cloud technologies.
- Establish practices for testing, evaluation, observability, documentation, security, and reliability.
- Explore emerging AI and ML techniques, prototype promising approaches, and translate them into practical business solutions.

Requirements:
- At least 7 years of professional Python software-development experience, including services, APIs, integrations, data workflows, or serverless solutions.
- Proven experience delivering end-to-end software systems, including backend development, data repositories, and basic frontend components.
- At least 2 years of practical GCP experience; experience with other cloud environments is an advantage.
- Experience developing LLM applications, including prompt engineering, agentic workflows, RAG, knowledge management, and context engineering.
